金曲國語獎項首度正名為華語 尊重多元族群語言

The Tanwan’s Golden Melody Award 2021 was held on 21 August. A key change of the Award this year is that the terms “national language” (國語) and “local language”（方言）are not used to show respect to other ethnicities. That is, there is no more award to Best female singer (National Language) or Best female Singer (local language) 金曲獎從1990年開始舉辦至今，直到第3屆才出現「國語」相關獎項，同年也創立「方言」相關獎項；2004年的「方言」相關獎項取消，改為「客語」、「原住民語」、「台語」獎項。今年金曲獎則首度出現「最佳華語女歌手獎」、「最佳華語男歌手獎」、「最佳華語專輯獎」，更加展現對不同族群的尊重。
