Synopsis/劇情簡介

Based on real events, this is the inspiring story of a children’s choir comprising members of the Bunun indigenous ethnic group and their resolute leader.

Director/導演介紹

Director YANG: This is my first feature movie, and this movie is based on the true story of Vox Nativa Taiwan Foundation choir. The choir have been touring around the world and are loved by audiences.

The audiences always take these children’s voice as the talent of Bunun aboriginals, but they do not see how these children have practiced tirelessly. Moreover, the choir conductor used to be afraid of music and ignored his Bunun identity. I have filmed two documentaries with this choir and always hope to depict the true story about how the choir really started in the first place!
