“Transition” is perhaps most visible in Taiwan’s historical and political journey from authoritarianism to democracy. Yet, for those living through it, change often feels quiet and subtle — triggered by a short conversation, a photograph, or a fleeting moment with family.

Featuring four remarkable and deeply moving personal stories, these films bring Taiwan’s past and present into a shared conversation.

今年，MTFF的主題為「Transition － 流轉」。

時光流轉，歲月如梭。臺灣從威權走向民主的歷程艱辛而漫長。回望歷史，或許會覺得那段改革轟轟烈烈。但對親身經歷的人來說，改變往往來得悄無聲息。也許是某句話讓人頓時醒悟、也許是某張照片激發了靈感、亦或許是在某個瞬間，與家人的關係產生了變化。四個真摯動人的故事，帶領我們走進臺灣的過去與現在。
