Call for Papers: Global Taiwan 全球臺灣研討會

Global Taiwan is an international and interdisciplinary conference that brings
together scholars from across the humanities and social sciences to explore
Taiwan’s place in the world. The conference seeks to situate Taiwan within global
historical processes, intellectual currents, and cultural exchanges, while also
highlighting the island’s distinctive experiences and contributions. By fostering
dialogue among researchers working in fields as diverse as history, literature,
politics, anthropology, media studies, and beyond, Global Taiwan offers a unique
forum for rethinking Taiwan’s global significance and for advancing the study of
Taiwan in a comparative, transnational frame. Submissions are welcome in either
English or Chinese. Please send an abstract of no more than 300 words, along with
a short bio, by 31 July 2026 to globaltaiwanconference@gmail.com.

全球臺灣是一場國際性、跨領域的學術會議，匯聚人文與社會科學領域的學者，共同
探討臺灣在世界中的位置。會議旨在將臺灣置於全球歷史進程、思想潮流與文化交流
之中加以審視，同時突顯其獨特的經驗與貢獻。透過促進歷史、文學、政治、人類學
、媒體研究等多元領域研究者的對話，全球臺灣為重新思考臺灣的全球意義，以及推
進臺灣研究於比較與跨國框架中的發展，提供了一個獨特的平台。投稿語言不限 中文
或英文。請於2026年7月31日前將不超過三百字的摘要及簡短個人簡介寄至
